Short bio to follow: background, what Erin brings to ALLERGY GO!, and her connection to the problem. Sixty to eighty words.
ALLERGY GO! is the only application which allows diners to book a table, share their Allergy ID, sign the restaurant's allergy declaration form and pre-order their meal – all before they arrive at the restaurant.
Built with safety in mind, ALLERGY GO! allows venues to streamline their allergy handling for all 14 major allergens. This not only saves time, but ensures absolute clarity between the restaurant and the diner.
The problem, in three numbers01 — The problem
None of them is a secret. All of them are fixable.
UK adults live with a clinically confirmed food allergy.Food Standards Agency, Patterns and Prevalence of Adult Food Allergy, 2024.
people with a food allergy reported a reaction while eating out within a 12-month period.FSA and Allergy UK consumer survey, 2016.
The kitchen believes it has said it. The guest hasn't seen it.FSA Advisory Committee for Social Science, evidence paper on written allergen information.
02 — The gap
The guest knows their allergens. The kitchen knows its dishes. The booking knows the table. Today those three facts meet for the first time at the table, out loud, in a busy room.
They currently help you find somewhere to eat, but their service stops at the door. Nothing reaches the kitchen.
They know every ingredient in every dish, but many guests never see it. Those who do have to sift through a clunky file at the table.
They know who is coming in and when, but many don't offer clear allergen support. It's usually a free-text note, if the guest remembered to type one.
ALLERGY GO! joins them up, in writing, before the guest arrives.
03 — How it works
Date, time, party size and a note for the restaurant, from the guest's phone or entered by your team when someone rings.
Each guest's allergens and their severity, declared once and shared with every booking. Anyone added to the table shares their own.
Your allergy declaration form, read to the end and signed by each guest with allergens before they arrive. A record for you, clarity for them.
A menu filtered for their Allergy ID. Pre-order now or later, up to the cut-off you set. Notes on each dish travel with the pre-order.
You confirm, ask for a change, or say you can't accommodate it.
The kitchen knows before the guest arrives.
A guest app and a restaurant dashboard, prototyped end to end and working with sample data.
Let's have a chat over a coffee and we'll show you how it works.
04 — Why now
The rules are tightening, the numbers have doubled in a decade, and the habit of telling a restaurant things in advance already exists. Nobody has given the allergy its own channel.
In March 2025 the Food Standards Agency said written allergen information should always be available in restaurants, alongside a conversation with staff. In 2026 it is reviewing whether restaurants have followed that guidance, to advise ministers as the Owen's Law campaign presses for it to become law. In California, the first US state law requiring chain restaurants to disclose allergens on menus has applied since July 2026.
FSA guidance, 5 March 2025; FSA evaluation of the guidance, 2026; California SB 68.Recorded food allergy in England roughly doubled between 2008 and 2018, and about 6% of UK adults now have a clinically confirmed food allergy. The guests who grew up with it expect to be asked.
The Lancet Public Health, 2024; FSA, 2024.Guests already book online and pre-order for groups and events; online booking overtook the phone years ago. Telling the kitchen before you arrive is the obvious next habit. It just needs somewhere to live.
Zonal and CGA, GO Technology research, 2019.Booking, payments and ordering platforms are buying each other: American Express owns Resy and Tock, and DoorDash agreed to buy SevenRooms. Each holds one piece of the guest record. None of them holds the allergy.
Company announcements, 2019 to 2025.05 — For restaurant groups
ALLERGY GO! sits beside the booking system you already run. Every allergic guest, whether they booked through the app or rang the restaurant, goes through the same written flow and lands in the same dashboard.
For restaurant groups, pub companies, independents with ambition, and the people who run their bookings.
06 — For investors
A compliance moment, a consumer habit and a record – all in one booking. Two founders, a working prototype, and a plan to build the platform properly and land the first restaurant groups.
